Herbert and Jack

Herbert and Jack's is a brand whose purpose is to make life simpler and bring peace of mind.

It started with a modified safety microwave for families to support elderly relatives in sheltered accommodation (sometimes called assisted living) live independently for longer.  There a several other products* in development which make life simper and bring peace of mind.   

 

So who are Herbert and Jack?

They were very special brothers (know as 'the boys') who although very popular for being kind and generous, never married, lived together in a rural bungalow with a little bit of land, helping out there elderly Mum, and had a gift of repurposing things to make life simpler.

For instance, when their house ran on a diesel generator, rather than having to go outside in the cold to switch it off, measured the precise about of fuel required for it to run out, just after bed time - whenever that might be.  Simple and in the knowledge the generator was safely off.

One of their outbuildings was a the box from a box van - watertight and repurposing something that was going for scrap.

In turn, they inspired their nephew (the founder of Herbert & Jacks) to solve problems in a similar way.  With the success, through pure word of mouth, of the safety microwave the Herbert & Jack's brand was born.
